I lead data science and machine learning at Squarespace. My teams work across the full stack — statistical and causal models for marketing and finance, and real-time ML and AI-powered systems for product personalization. I focus on building strong teams, shipping models that reach production, and connecting the work to measurable business impact.
Before Squarespace, I was a postdoctoral fellow in the Center for Neural Science at New York University, where my research combined computational modeling, behavioral experiments, and electrophysiology to study neural mechanisms of decision making.
I completed my PhD in cognitive neuroscience at Vanderbilt University and studied cognitive science with minors in applied statistics and neuroscience at Miami University. See the Neuroscience page for more on that research, and the Blog for side projects and writing.
